Stuck? Stuck.

     I'm sorry for being gone for a few days. I've been kind of stressed out about some stuff, but anyway, right-o.
I have another favorite poem of mine, which is quite long, a little too long to post on here. "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock", by T.S. Elliot. Here is an awesome review that I found on it. 







Pretty great concepts, eh? I completely agree, I just wish that he would've gone in deeper. Anyway, can anyone translate the beginning of the poem for me please?


S’io credesse che mia risposta fosse
A persona che mai tornasse al mondo,
Questa fiamma staria senza piu scosse.
Ma perciocche giammai di questo fondo
Non torno vivo alcun, s’i’odo il vero,
Senza tema d’infamia ti rispondo.
